Cruisin' the Caribbean

This summer we took a cruise to the Caribbean. The Carnival Inspiration stopped at Grand Cayman and Cozumel. We had a great time!
Dinner on formal night.
I can hardly belive it has been 7 years since we first visited Grand Cayman on our Honeymoon. It was fun to revist... and to take Baby Schatz on his/her first vacation. We even got to eat dinner at a little Italian bistro - Casonova by the Sea - that we visited twice on our Honeymoon.
Another night on the ship.
Our last dinner in route back to the Port of Tampa.
Our waiter Franz and his assistant.
Each night our Steward made fancy towel animals. Throughout the trip we had a seal, stingray, elephant and 2 dogs. Very cute.

U of M Reunion - Go Blue!

In early June, we had U of M reunion in Dallas, TX at the Hatch's house. The girls hosted a Baby Shower for me and Jody.... we are both due just days apart! The shower included a little pampering for all the ladies!
We hit the Dallas Zoo, complete with strollers, bottles, sippy cups, sunscreen, water, cameras, video cameras, and much more.... It was a very educational adventure for the mom-to-be!

Sarah at 19 weeks, Leah at 31 weeks

Arn't we cute! Our bellies just keep on growing!

Our Little One - 19 Weeks, 2 Days

Amazing! The ultrasound today was so special. We were able to see our little one moving around in the womb. So much difference since the first ultrasound at 6 weeks - the baby looks more like a baby instead of a lima bean!

For all of you skeptics who didn't believe I could wait... we DID NOT find out if it's a boy or girl... I know you can't believe that I could resist knowing with my natural tendency to plan, plan, plan. We are exctited to have a surprise in October... stay tuned!

We'll get to have another ultrasound at about 30 weeks. (Another hurdle in the "waiting to find out game"...) Expect more pics then!
What are you looking at? The head is on the left, front face view, you can see the brain, eyes, mouth, chin, and belly.
What are you looking at? The head is in profile on the left and the spinal cord curves along the top.
